钢 alloy 4140 cold roll is a popular general-purpose alloy, ideal for parts that require high tensile strength 和 toughness. It has considerable atmospheric corrosion 和 wear resistance, 和 will not become brittle.
4140 has a machining cost factor of 2.9与钢12L14相比. It is not ideal for welding due to its lead content. It is often used for forging, responds very well to heat treatment, 和 can be annealed.
